Logo Ownership/Copyright and Trademarking
You can use your downloaded free logo for any commercial or non-commercial use, and you have full ownership of it.
The copyright, however, applies to your logo as a whole and not the individual design elements. Because we get our symbols and fonts from a database, we can't guarantee the copyright of the individual elements, nor do we remove them from our database after purchasing (so others can use them).
We're always available to prove that you designed your logo on My Free Logo Maker if you need evidence in a copyright case, and you can use your purchase dates on your receipt as proof of ownership.
Trademarking your logo design
If you want to trademark your logo design, you'll need the help of an attorney familiar with the laws in your state or country at this time.
Take a look at the websites below for more information about trademarking in different countries (you can always search online if your country isn’t listed here).

Adding trademark symbols to your logo
You can use TM, ©, or SM on non-registered trademarks on your logo, but can only use the ® symbol in officially registered trademarks from your country or state’s governing body.
Not all the fonts in our logo maker support special characters like the trademarking and copyright symbols, so you may not be able to add them.
