Adding/Editing a Logo Slogan
My Free Logo Maker gives you the flexibility to add a slogan to your logo and tweak it to your liking. To add a slogan to your logo (or change the slogan) while in the logo editor, here’s how:
- In the menu on the left, select Symbol
- In the top menu, above the logo you’re editing, enter slogan in Slogan Text box
- The logo variations on the left will update to include your slogan
Changing slogan font
Click Slogan in the left menu. Under Slogan Options at the top of the page, click Font Types. From here, you can explore font options by scrolling down or selecting a font style.
Changing slogan color
Click Slogan in the left menu. Under Slogan Options at the top of the page, click Colors. From here, you can explore color options by clicking a color swatch (e.g. blue) and scrolling down.
If you want to select a color or use a custom hex code, go to the color picker — the small circle to the top left of the logo you’re editing. From here, you can toggle and click to explore color options, or enter a custom hex code. The color picker will also show you recent colors used.
Changing slogan size and spacing
Click Slogan in the left menu. You’ll see a Size button above your logo — click this and use the toggle to make your slogan bigger or smaller.
Beside the size button, you’ll also see a button that has an “A” with an arrow underneath — click this to adjust letter spacing in your slogan. Click the Position button and use the toggles to move your slogan to the right or left, or up and down.
Undoing changes
You can undo changes at any time by clicking the Undo button at the top of the editor. You can also choose History in the left menu to see recent iterations of the logo you’ve been editing.
If you’re working with a logo design you like, but want to keep trying other options, click Make a Copy at the top of the editor screen to save your current iteration of a design.
